However, the final decision will be taken in a meeting of the disaster management group formed by the state government. It is believed that this meeting will be chaired by the Chief Secretary on February 5 since the current directives regarding COVID-19 issued by the state government are applicable until February 6. While all educational institutions remain closed under these guidelines, their offices are operating with 50% attendance.

Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, in a conversation with Hindustan on Monday regarding the preparations for reopening schools from February 7th, stated that the Education Department intends to open educational institutions.
