Top business schools in the US and Canada
There are 102 business schools in the US this year. Four of the US’ business schools are ranked among the top 10 worldwide. The highest-ranked of these is Harvard – retaining the title of the best business school in the world for an eighth consecutive year. Harvard University earns a perfect score for employer reputation. The school has a strong alumni network, and its business school graduates are estimated to earn a median base salary of US$150,000.
In the current rankings, there are a total of 21 business schools from Canada. Among them, two universities have managed to secure positions in the top 50 globally: University of Toronto at 29th place and University of British Columbia at 39th place. These institutions have received commendable scores in the H-index citations indicator, indicating that their faculty members are highly productive and influential.
Best Business Schools in Europe
Europe has the highest number of business schools featured in the rankings, with a total of 220 schools included. Among these, six European institutions have secured positions within the top 10 globally.
For the fifth consecutive year, INSEAD has been recognized as the top business school in Europe. Among the 17 institutions from France that were included this year, INSEAD stands out as an international business school with campuses located in France, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, and San Francisco. Its outstanding academic reputation has earned it a perfect score this year, emphasizing its strong commitment to diversity within its courses.
London Business School has once again emerged as the top business school in the UK, securing the third position. The rankings include a total of 62 business schools from the UK this year, with seven of them making it to the top 50. Other renowned institutions featured in the UK rankings are The London School of Economics (11th), The University of Warwick (=21st), Imperial College London (=25th), and The University of Manchester (=32nd).
In Spain, the rankings have remained unchanged from previous years. Universitat Ramon Llull continues to be recognized as the top university in the country, maintaining its 17th position worldwide. Additionally, University of Navarra holds the 23rd spot, while IE University and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid are ranked at equal positions of 25th and 132nd respectively among the top universities globally.
Copenhagen Business School is one of the five universities in Denmark that have been included in the rankings this year. Among the 11 universities in the Netherlands, Erasmus University Rotterdam holds the highest position and three of them are ranked within the top 100 globally for business studies.
Some other well-known European universities that made it to the top 50 include the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, ranked 31st, and WU Vienna University of Economics and Business in Austria, ranked at number 36.
Best Business Schools in Asia
This year, the rankings include a total of 147 business schools from Asia, with 11 of them securing positions in the top 50 worldwide.
The National University of Singapore, ranked 13th globally, is the top-ranked school in Asia. NUS has received recognition for its H-index citations and has emphasized the importance of transparency by sharing student feedback forms with the entire community to enhance their teaching standards.
The remaining two schools from Singapore also secured positions within the top 50: Nanyang Technological University ranked 20th, while Singapore Management University was tied for 36th place.
Hong Kong SAR has a strong representation in the global top 50, with seven business schools included. The highest-ranked school from Hong Kong is The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, which holds the 24th position. HKUST offers a diverse range of business courses that encompass various subjects such as Chinese business, Asian financial markets, and entrepreneurship.
South Korea has three schools that are included in the top 50 global rankings. Seoul National University is ranked joint 39th, Korea University is joint 48th, and Yonsei University holds the 54th position.
