University School of Law & Legal Studies (USLLS) was founded in 2001 and currently has a student population of approximately 700 students pursuing BA+BBA LLB degrees. The University School of Law & Legal Studies is a constituent school that was established in 2001. It is the first law school in Delhi to be run by the state government and it has consistently been ranked among the top 15 government law schools in India. Additionally, it is considered one of the top five law schools in Delhi NCR. Due to limited seats and a large number of applicants, USLLS has an extremely low acceptance rate. Furthermore, it was ranked 12th in the National Institutional Ranking Framework by the Ministry of Education, Government of India (in the law category).

History

Founded in 2001, the main aim of the University School of Law and Legal Studies was to operate as a center for advanced legal education. It held the distinction of being the first law school affiliated with a university in close proximity to significant judicial institutions such as the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, subordinate courts, commissions, tribunals, and national and international voluntary organizations.

Five years of integrated B.B.A., LL.B. (H) program
