Due to extreme heatwave conditions, regular classes were suspended for five days from April 26 to April 30. This year, the duration of summer holidays was reduced by 35 days.

In Andhra Pradesh, schools will be closed for the summer vacation from May 6 to July 4.

Puducherry: Students in grades 1 to 9 in the Union Territory will have their summer break starting from April 30.
